The University of Ener-Spray
At Ener-Spray we understand the first Law of Spray foam insulation is "The quality of your product will only be as good as the installer spraying it." As we started to grow from one truck to two and beyond our mandate was to consistently provide the highest possible industry quality of product and service EVERY TIME on every job. To ensure this, the owner of Ener-spray introduced the University of Ener-Spray. This program allows us to guarantee our field staff are properly trained and providing the best service and workmanship on all jobs. Our employees learn proper application of spray foam and maintain a high quality of workmanship and continue to build their skill set. Every field staff employee begins their career as a helper to a certified journeyman sprayer. They are trained and educated about the spray foam process and are advanced through a multi stage program as they meet skill set requirements and log over 2000 hrs of practical field experience.

Ener-Spray Systems Inc. is a family owned business started in 2001. Currently Ener-Spray’s management team has over 85 years of combined construction and building envelope expertise. All of our construction managers have worked their way through the University of Ener-spray progressing up through the company and becoming some of the leading experts in the industry working closely with government officials to develop some of the most up to date codes for insulation in the local construction industry. We are dedicated to providing solutions to insulation and fireproofing problems.

The History of Ener-Spray
Ener-spray was started in 2001 by father and son Kevin Cooper and Lane Cooper. Ener-spray’s initial focus was commercial and industrial spray foam markets. As technology changed and new revolutionary spray foams were developed Ener-spray was able to expand its operations into the residential construction industry. These new spray foams provided solutions to several insulation problems that have plagued the construction industry for decades given inferior insulation products not able to perform for the climate we live in. Kevin and Lane dedicated most of their time in the first few years of Ener-spray teaching people about spray foam and new insulating practices that could eliminate many of the insulation problems that faced builders and renovators. With time they began to prove the value and superior performance of Ener-spray foam in residential projects and the name now stands as a symbol for quality for home builders in Alberta.

Every job is inspected for quality of foam and workmanship and is then logged and archived as part of our lifetime warranty program. Since 2001 we have completed over 20,000 projects in Alberta ranging from simple residential projects to some of the largest commercial ventures in Alberta. This stands as a testament that no job is to big or too small for Ener-spray to tackle.
