We are currently looking for a professional, confident individual for the role of Administrative Assistant.  The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years experience in office administration and ideally within the construction industry.  Great organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively, multi-task and problem solve are other skills that we are looking for.  Accounting / book-keeping experience would be considered an asset.  Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook is necessary.

The duties are as follows, but are not limited to:

• Train with the scheduler for support and back up.
• Train with reception support and back up.
• Answering phones, taking messages and delivering messages.
• Enter sales leads into our database.  Database maintenance and reporting.
• Mail sorting, distribution
• Invoice distribution
• Quotations
• General office duties as requested, such as filing, photocopying, writing memos, etc.
• Place orders for office supplies.
• Support for sales, estimating, accounting, commercial and administration departments
• Creating and maintaining reporting systems
• Managing credit applications
• Take on projects that are assigned and follow through to completion
